In the level cirith angol at the end you will have to fight gorbag. Then don't run up to him. Run to the spears and press z to pick them up and throw it at his sheild. Then throw another at him to make him dizzy. Then instead of throwing another at him run up to him and hit him. When he falls down, quickly stab him (R). He will get up for another sheild. While playing Co-op, you need to have a character that has a bane move (Example: Orc Bane). While one player uses the bane move, the other player can run up to the enemy who is being killed and kill him from behind, but be quick! Both players will get points for the kill. To unlock this harder bonus level, beat Crack of Doom, get Gandalf, Sam, and either Aragorn, Legolas or Gimli, to level 10. Then, go to the very top of the level select screen (the part with the 5 blue dots past Crack of Doom) and choose the one all the way on the right. Most people are probably having trouble figuring out how to use the bane/linked moves. To do this you must first parry (B) an attack then right after that press A, B, and the R buttons at the same time to do the move. This may not work the first time as it requires some practice.

When playing the Foreign Forest level in the partwhen you're in the river look at the water,you'll see the reflection of an orc. You maythink 'tree' but if you look close you can seeit. You cannot shoot or touch it at all.

The easiest way to beat the catapault(at the end)is to use: Gimly-dwarven fury Legolas-elvenfury Aragorn-ranger fury.if you have astronger one then those then use that

This is an exteamly difficult level. It iseasiest to do this with a Legolas that at leasthas Dragonfire Arrows and Gil-Galad's Rage. Ifyou don't have a Legolas with these moves, thango back, complete every other level with him, andbuy those moves. At the begging, just snipe offeveryone who comes at you. When shielded orcscome, just let them pass you and hid them with anarrow from behind. If a flaming orc or uruk-haipasses you, don't worry about it, it willeventually die. When the forest troll comes, justy attack it until it dies. Then, when thecatapult comes, snipe of all of the orcs and uruk-hai that are guarding it. Finally go up to thecatapult and use Gil-Galad's Rage(the attackwhere you charge with y) until the catapult'slife is gone. After you do all this, a cutsceanwill play that shows the catapult blowing up andAragorn sniping off all of the remaining orcs anduruk-hai

To get more experience points when facing agoblin, knock it down with x and then use a killmove. For some reason, when you kick anunshealded goblin, it flips over on the ground.DO NOT LEAVE IT FOR DEAD, IT IS NOT! You shouldonly use this if there are very few goblinsattacking you at a time. USING THIS IN THE MIDDLEOF A LARGE GROUP IS SUICIDAL!

In every level (well, almost every level), you canfind small stones that give you more experiencepoints. However, some of these stones are verywell hidden. The levels that I have found thesestones in so far are: The Gates of Moria, AmonHen, Fanghorn Forest, Plains of Rohan, TheWestfold, and Hornburg Courtyard. There may besome in other levels, but I have not found anyothers so far.

Beat the game with a lvl 10 Aragorn, then beathis bonus stage(the tower Orsanc). You'llunlockIsildur's secret stage. Beat it with him andyou'll unlock cheats and Isildur himself withevery level except Weathertop.

When his tenticles whip out at you, parry them.They will whip around in the air harmlessly.Take this time to fierce attack one of them. TheWatcher will pop his head up; you'll need to firea missle at him. Repeat this stradegy untill heis dead.I have decided to add prefrences at the end,because I have been asked to do so. At first I'duse Legolas, because the level is easy and theboss requires more ranged skill than strength.Next, try to stay in the water, so you won'twaste time wading. Finaly it's best to keeppressing the B button until all the tenticles arewaving in the air. Sometimes one will stop andgo underwater. Don't worry, just repeat theabove stradegy.

In the levels with Trolls, you can kill them easily without getting hit once. Runup to a Troll after it has thrown a log at you or tried to hit you. Press Y onceonly, then run away. Do not run too far. Stay close, but not too close for it tohit you. Wait until it takes a swipe at you, then run back at it and press Y onceagain. Repeat this until it is dead.

Lurts starts by shooting arrows. Deflect them with your sword then fire a chargedarrow at him. Keep repeating this until the intermission sequence where he grabsa sword from the ground begins. When he charges you, kill the minions that appearand try to hide behind one of the marble statues surrounding the arena. He willstab it, stick in, then be open for an attack. Use the Y thrust. Normally, twoshots can be dealt and sometimes a third if you are lucky. Note: This is on theeasy and normal difficulty setting. Also, when he rips his sword from the marblestatue, it disintegrates, dropping health, arrows or other useful items.

Many parts of the game will require you to put out a fire or save people in orderto move on to the next area. Look for a barrel in the area of the fire. Smash itwith a speed attack and water will flow out, extinguishing any fires it can.

When you can play levels over again, use this trick. It will take severalattempts, depending on your skill. In all of the levels (excluding Weathertop,Amon Hen, Plains of Rohan, Breached Wall, and the Helms Deep), you can completethe level with an 'Excellent' rank, just by killing one or two Orcs, andgetting 'Excellent'. Kill a few Orcs at the beginning of the level (five ormore), getting an 'Excellent' rank. Then, run near to the end of the level. Forexample, in the Gates of Moria level kill off the first few Orcs with your LinkedMove until the intermission sequence with the arrow and the Orc and Gimli. Then,run to the part where you need to kill the Watcher, and do not kill any Orcs onthe way, unless you have to. No orcs will follow you to the Boss part after youhave started it. Kill the Watcher. When your kills get counted, as you will see,you will have more 'Excellent' kills.

The easiest way to level up is to repeatedly enable the 'Add 1000 experiencepoints' code. Each time you level up, you will hear a noise along with the sword.

Successfully complete the game with Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas to unlock Isilduras a playable character on most levels.

Play as Aragorn and get him to level 5 to unlock the Viggo Mortenson interview.

Play as Legolas and get him to level 5 to unlock the Orlando Bloom interview.

Play as Gimli and get him to level 5 to unlock the John Rhys-Davis interview.

Successfully complete the Balin's Tomb level with any character to unlockFellowship Of The Ring background photos.
